We are thrilled to offer your school a unique and interactive storytelling experience with author Linda Harkey! Students will delight in her animal-themed adventures, brought to life with the help of Bernie the Puppet, while having the opportunity to pre-order signed, personalized books.

The author will also have her new Little Monsters Read-Along audiobook and accompanying book for the children to enjoy listening and following along with the book.

A visit to Wellston Elementary in Wellston, Oklahoma

Linda Harkey's visit blends storytelling, audiobooks, print editions, and puppet fun to create a one-of-a-kind experience that your students will treasure.

A visit to Edmond Library and read The Case of the Missing Pink Piggy to Madeline Washa (4th grade) and MaryKate Washa (2nd grade).

School Visit Fees

  • $400 for the first presentation

  • $100 for each additional presentation (up to three presentations per visit)

Fee Waiver Opportunity

  • The school visit fee is waived with a pre-order of 25 books or more!

With each visit, Linda Harkey will contribute:

  • Two copies of each book (Desert Friends and The Great Animal Escape).

Parents can pre-order author-signed, personalized books and/ or Story Monster keychains! Pre-orders are easy!

  • Print and send the Parent Flyer with the order form home with students at least two weeks before the presentation.

  • Families can review the offers and complete the attached order form, selecting books and/or keychains and adding a personalized name for the purchased book(s).

  • Indicate on the Parent Flyer the date that completed order forms should be returned, along with payment (checks payable to Linda Harkey), to the school.

Additional Ordering Opportunities

  • Orders can also be placed after the presentation for those who miss the pre-order deadline.
